Remember some of the things we learned throughout the year:
Listen to music while you study but do not listen to music with words. It will distract your mind.
Get proper sleep. Deep REM sleep helps your clear your mind and refresh your for the important work ahead.
Eat a good breakfast. Proper nutrition is crucial to performance.
Put the phone in another room while you study. Good luck.
One of my strategies for studying is reading my notes front to back then backwards. I think this helps because originally I was studying in one order, remembering it only in that order. Reading it backwards will test if I really remember what I'm studying.
ReplyDeleteOne strategy that helps me get ready for an upcoming test is to watch Khan Academy/study Quizlet because that lets me see how other people explain the topic if I can't understand it, which allows me to perhaps find an easier way to grasp the concept because of all the different ways people explain things.
ReplyDeleteOne strategy I use to get ready for upcoming finals is make sure I get enough sleep. This helps because more sleep means you can have more energy to study. Getting more sleep helps you feel healthier and happier. Another strategy I do is that I play Kahoot! or Quizlet with my friends. We love doing this because it is a fun way to study and get our brain focused.
ReplyDeletesome things that i do when i study is listen to music, it helps me stay focused. Also chew gum when i study and then when i take the test i chew the same flavor of gum. Also i try not to stress over the tests, if im studying and its 12:30 am i go to sleep because i can always study in the morning
